The Immunology Laboratory of the NOVA Medical School|Faculdade de Ciências Médicas – Universidade NOVA de Lisboa has come to establish itself as a center for the provision of services to the community in the scope of primary immunodeficiency’s diagnostic.
For this purpose, we have validated testing protocols in the field of flow cytometry and Immunochemistry (set forth below), which represent an added value for the clinical evaluation of patients with suspicion of immunodeficiency.
Flow Cytometry
- Cytotoxic Activity of NK cells*
- Evaluation of the expression of membrane activation markers, after TLR stimulation
- Evaluation of the expression MHC I molecules (HLA ABC and β2microglobuline)
- Evaluation of the expression of Perforin
- Evaluation of the expression of membrane activation markers, after TLR stimulation
